Searching for my Grandpa's record

Lately, I am trying to find a hint about my maternal Grandfather. He lived here in United States for a long time. He died early so my mom had no opportunity to know everything about him. So far, what she knows were the lastname of the family who adopted my Grandpa and his name of course. I tried to do the international background check but I have to pay to use their service. I am saving some money and hoping that soon I get more information about my Grandpa.

Sunshine state

I'm thinking of going to florida vacations this summer. My hubby thought it was a good idea. I want something different...beach. It has been awhile since I was in Gulf of Mexico and no plan of going back anytime soon. Besides, I have friend to meet up in Jacksonville, Fl. They were inviting me to go and see them if I could. This summer it would be a great opportunity to take off work and go for vacation even just only a week.

3 days before Christmas

I think I'm done for Christmas shopping. Actually, I wrapped all our presents for our family and friends. My hubby and I both ready for Christmas holiday. I need the 3 days off from work.

Work is a little stressful since we are going to markdown all store items on Wednesday and Thursday then off Friday. Kinda weird schedule so our store manager asked us today if we are willing to do the markdown in the evening. We are going to do it overnight since nobody will bother us and we can get more hours this week. I think I'm gonna do it. I need extra money for the first week of next year. I am going to start paying off my tuition fee again for Spring semester.

Besides, I don't know what my books cost like. Hopefully not too expensive-we are stretching our finances from now to the end of January. I know God will provide in all our needs more than we expect. For now, I can't wait to see my in-laws and enjoy the Christmas break with them.
