Fire Alarm Batteries

We woke up one morning hearing the beep, beep, beep. What is that?, I asked my hubby. We try to figure out where that beep came from. It's in our bedroom-hubby retorted. Oh the fire alarm. Why it's doing like that-I added. He got up and checked to gave me the answer. Because it was early morning we couldn't think right. He tried to figure out for couple of minutes and suddenly he ended up by saying I guess the battery is dead. To stop the beep he open it up and unplugged the alarm. After couple days, we heard the same beep in the other side of the house. Oh yeah, both of our fire alarm batteries are dead. Finally yesterday my hubby replaced all fire alarm batteries.

10 hours work a day!

I am been working 10 hours a day in one job since my two teammates were not around. One took a month vacation and the other one was sick. How can I meet the percentage alone? That was my fear when I started marking down last week by myself. There's a point I thought of quitting. Seriously, it cross in my mind to ask the manager to put me somewhere not in markdown job. Deep in my heart there's no quiting. The quitter never wins. If I fail, I fail. It's my learning process to work hard and do better next time.

Marking down is not a one person job. It needs at least 2 or more people to help one another to reach the 85%. I was scared that the District manager will call my attention why our store didn't reach the percentage. I'm so glad that our store managers told her the situation and giving me 2 more days. They were happy because even I'm doing by myself I'm almost reaching the percentages. I guess, 3-4% more to go. I am hoping that I will finish before noon tomorrow because I have to leave going to my other job too. Whew!!!
