TGIF!

I know friday was already over. Last Friday evening our Pastor and his wife invited us for dinner at their house together with Poyner's family. They just want to show appreciation for us who help in the ministry inside church especially for Dan and Lance who have been in praise and worship band for over 8 years.

Nancy prepared great food: broil steak, mashed potato, ginger bread, brocolli and vegetables salad with poppy seed dressing. I can't believe how much I ate that night but I can't help it those food are awesome. She also baked apple pie for dessert. I love Nancy cooking, she made almost everything from the scratch. She even made her own bread and were delicious.

We had a great time together as they shared their skeing experienced. They challenge me to try to ski in the future when everybody are ready to go again. The funny was when Bro. Gene said that let's put our money who's gonna try going to the slope "Monica or Mimi"?. Dan quickly respond I'm gonna put my money on Mimi. He know I have the guts to try new stuff... I rode with them when we had the state fair last month here. But, anyway it was a wonderful get together we had last friday. We watched the last man standing movie but we were only half way through it my hubby need to come home and rest. He was sick for couple days last week and he need more sleep to get his strength back.
